PLATINUM TOUR

The Platinum Tour is the next step for developing your skills for playing high school golf and preparing to earn a college scholarship.

The Platinum Tour provides a number of advantages over other tournament opportunities:

 • Tournaments are conducted locally at some of the finest courses in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach      Counties, keeping travel expense to a minimum. (PRICE OF GAS IS EXPECTED TO REACH $5.00 PER GALLON)

 • Official South Florida Qualifying Tournament for the 2012 Callaway Junior World Championships in      San Diego, CA. AJGA Performance Stars awarded at this tournament.

 • Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranked Tournaments

 • FSGA Florida Junior Tour “STEP” Exemptions

 • AJGA Performance Stars

 •  Most tournaments are played on weekends, giving parents the opportunity to follow their child.

 • Low entry fees

 • Some of the best trophies in junior golf awarded at each tournament

 • Player of the Year awards

 • Low Stroke Average award

 • Scholarships

 • Play in Threesomes or Twosomes; No Foursomes except for the Shootout.

 • Pace of Play is 4 1/2 hours or less

 • Earn a $10 credit for each tournament you enter towards the Junior Team Shootout entry fee.

 • Opportunity to represent GCJGF & PT at the FSGA Junior Team Championships
 

Tour membership is open to Boys 13-18 who regularly score 89 or better and Girls 13-18 who score 99 or better. Players 12 years of age who demonstrate the ability to meet the required scoring conditions may request membership. Boys 13-15, 16-18 will play 36 holes at an approximate distance of 6400-6700 yards and Girls 5800-6200 yards.
